Leopold

This is Leopold, a past puppy from Grace's litter born in 2010. He is so beautiful and it sounds like his temperament is amazing as well. Enjoy the email and pictures...

Hello,
This is Sam, we previously purchased Leopold a few months ago and wanted to update you on how he is doing. He has been beyond what we have expected and one of the nicest dogs we have ever seen, if not the nicest. He captures the eye of every person when we walk down the street, and his calm loving personality is unbeatable. He seems to be loving the snow that we just got and seems to be enjoying his life. He loves the horses and when we take a ride on them he joins us running around the open cornfields and always staying near. He is an extremely bright dog and listens well. He loves cuddling with us on the couch, and snuggling right up when its bedtime. Another thing he loves is swimming! He loves going in the pool or ponds and taking a quick dip, sometimes he even sits on the raft in the pool! Thank you!

Upcoming Puppies

I'm super excited about this upcoming litter!!!! I can't wait to see some gorgeous, blocky little pudge-balls with those amazing temperaments that all of Grace and Frosty's previous puppies have had. It's still a little too early to know if Grace is pregnant or not, but her appetite has been increasing which is a good sign...

Showing Moxie

Since there really is no news about Grace's pregnancy yet, (it's to early), I thought I would write a little bit about showing Moxie. Poor girl doesn't get much said about her because she's not a mommy yet. :) We're planning on breeding her for the first time her next heat, which will be in about 5 months or so. She will be 2 years old then, and will hopefully have her UKC championship title.

Moxie love's nothing better than to be in the show ring, and she has been doing very well! She's so well behaved, and is so super flashy that it is an absolute joy to show her. You can count the number of fox red Labrador show champions on one hand, so this girl is really special. Here are some pictures of her at shows over the past few months.

Moxie, and her friend Sierra, are sleeping
in their crate between shows.
Moxie won Best Female, and Best of Breed

Moxie and Faith won Best Junior Handler

Totally tuckered out! Moxie and Sierra sleeping

Maybe

 ~ Thielen and Maybe ~

I just got an email from the"mommy" of Maybe (previously known as Keelly), and it sounds like she is doing wonderfully! She has some really beautiful pictures that she sent as well, I'll post a few here along with her email...

Hello!

I hope you guys are having a phenomenal Fall/Winter!! My mother and I wanted to just drop by and say Hello! We frequent your website still to see the status of Todd! We hope he will find a loving home soon! He is SO adorable and handsome!! If you would ever be up for it, I would be interested in bringing Keely (AKA "Maybe") to visit her mom & brother Todd for a short while some day. She is a VERY social puppy, and I think she would really enjoy that. I have tried to take exceptional care of her. She gets LOTS of attention when I am at home and when I am at med school during the day my mother is with her. We have been gradually training her, and make sure she is walked once a day. She has many pooch playmates, and has a special love of large dogs (specifically Mastiffs!). She has become a very curious, social, yet pleasingly calm puppy. I think you guys would be proud! Attached are some pictures of us from this Fall. (not to many from the last 4 weeks though).

Thanks again for supplying us with such a wonderful puppy! We wish you guys the best, and we will try to pass along the word that Todd is available to anyone looking for a new member of the family. :)

Take Care,
Thielen & Maybe

Having a blast!!!

Last night we had all of my married siblings and the nephews over for dinner and lot's of fun and fellowship. My 5 nephews (ages 3 and under) ran all over the house with Todd and had an absolute blast! First thing I did last night was assemble a puppy crate. And of course, all of the boys wanted to help, so they did! "Help". :) No really, we had a lot of fun. When we were done, Scott (1 year old) decided to climb inside. After that they all took turns crawling in there. The puppy had lot's of fun watching from the outside. :)

Isn't there something wrong with this picture? :)

Not the greatest picture...but CUTE!

The boys were pretending Todd was a deer...he was
paying absolutely no attention.

They completely tired him out. :)
