Growing...

Our little pups are now ten weeks old! I can't believe how fast the time flies! It seems like just yesterday that they were all sleeping in a small hump, deaf, blind, and helpless. Those days are long gone! They are now 10 weeks old, super playful, chubby, smart and so ready to find new homes! I am so surprised that we still have all seven considering how much interest we've had in them (and how adorable they all are...). Just today my nephew David was over (he's 2 year's old, and loves the puppies!) and just couldn't stop saying "cute, ah, their cute" over and over again while studying the puppies. We all have to agree!

~Fern~
Fern is a very energetic frisky girl who loves
people so much! She is a lighter golden, a rare beauty even
at this young age, and is going to make somebody
 a fantastic lifelong friend.

~Chloe~
Chloe is calm and is such a lover. She always wants
to be held even before she eats a meal! She is a darker golden,
and one of our smallest females. She's going to
make some family very happy!

~Ginger~
Ginger is also quite mellow and loves attention. She has such
a pretty face and nice form already. She is a medium to lighter golden
and is a nice medium size. She is very easy going,
I know her future owner(s) will just love her!

~Clyed Beatty~
Clyde is a big boy, and the leader of the pack. We named him
after a famous lion hunter. :) He is so sweet, and loves
his human attention. He's also very beautiful and is going to
make his future owner quite proud!

~Edison~
Edison is our sweetie. He is darker golden as well, and so
adorable! Snuggling is his specialty. Just take one
look at those calm, sweet eyes and you'll fall in love forever!

~Maxwell~
Max is a big, beautiful medium yellow boy,
and is still fondly called "Christmas Puppy" by many
in our family (that was his "name" before he was Maxwell).
You can just hold him on your lap and he loves it. He's
 waiting for a new family!

~Leopold~
Leo is our big softy. He reminds us of an adorable
teddy bear! He is a medium yellow and very handsome guy.
He's quite mellow, and very trainable.
His future owner(s) will be fortunate indeed!

Here they are...live!!!

Here are some short videos of our puppies.
The first one is the puppies together at 7 weeks old. Then individual videos of each.
Notice all the snow and the beautiful cold blue sky?
The day we shot these it was  -16 degrees out!
Our puppies love the snow and being outside!

First Day Out

Yesterday was the puppies very first day out. They did great in the car, and loved the vet's office! They were so good with the vet, all of them were very calm and eventually all conked out on the floor. I guess traveling is a tiring business! All the little fella's are in perfect health and were pronounced "very good looking puppies!" by our veterinarian.

This is such a fun stage that they are at right now, they are so fun to play with. I could watch them for hours! They're growing like weeds, and are about ready to find forever homes.

After we got done at the vet, we went over to my sister Lydia and her husband's house to say hello. David, my nephew, was thrilled when Faith brought Edison in to play with him and Scott~

Thus ended the puppies first day out. I think that they liked it!

A Day in the Snow

Ah, it's been awhile! The puppies are getting cuter all the time, eating dry dog food now and loving their daily romps in the snow. It took them a while to get used to our cold Minnesota winters, but they've adjusted now. They really like playing with the kitty's, but they are a little rough on them (the cat's don't appreciate that to much). Here are a few more pictures for your viewing. Enjoy!

I don't think Henry liked her to much...

"Hey, let's get her jeans all wet and snowy!"

Forget about pictures, let's just watch the puppies play!

Our little guys were four weeks old yesterday! It is so much fun to watch their individual personalities develop as they grow. It's getting a lot harder to get decent pictures of them though, puppies at this age never stop moving! While we were taking his pictures Max just had to run all over the place, until he got hungry and started crying for mommy. Clyde didn't really like the cute props we would give him to play with, but that's ok, he was even more photogenic on his own. Ginger was playful, acted like she knew she was adorable, and posed like a model. Leo didn't really like the camera flash and kept yawning (we woke him up to take his pictures). Chloe sat in one place almost the whole time, and other than jerking her head to look at things constantly, was a perfect angel. Fern was the friskiest of all, positive that licking my toes was far better than getting her picture taken. Edison wanted to run all over the place, or just be held. Whew! Forget about pictures! Let's just watch the puppies play! That is certainly what I was thinking by the time I was halfway through, but it was still fun and we sure got some cute pictures...

~Maxwell~
Max is a very blocky and strong little guy. He is one of the biggest of the litter.
He is very sweet and loves attention.

~Clyde Beatty~
Clyde is our only puppy with a last name. :) He is a poser, as you can see, and loves
attention and petting. He is such a calm, sweet, stocky guy.

~Ginger~
This girl is adorable and posed like a princess when we took her pictures.
She loves to play
and romp with her brothers and sisters, but is really a loving people puppy through and through.

~Leopold~
Leo is kind of our teddy bear. He's just so roly poly and good tempered.
He has a more
blocky build and is overall a big, playful boy.

~Chloe~
This girl is a beautiful darker yellow, and very calm and content. She will let
you do pretty much anything to her, as long as you're holding her while doing it.

~Fern~
Fern is a frisky girl, and reminds us of her mommy when she was
younger (which is a
good thing!). She is a gorgeous little lady who loves people and attention.

~Edison~
Ed is a calm, laid back boy but loves to romp and play just like any other
puppy. He is a little darker in coloring as well, and is growing into a really
handsome little guy.
